Who qualifies for help?

Everyone is qualified to shop here.  Food is distributed based on ages of household members and income.

What do I need to bring with me?

Each time you visit, we will need to see a picture ID for the primary member of the household.  On your first visit, we will need to see a picture ID or birth certificate for all members of the home. If you don’t currently have these, we will give you a free pass for the first visit only.

How much does it cost?

Everything that you receive from us is free.  We want to help you stretch your money by providing you with food and clothing at no cost.

How often can I get food and clothing?

Your household may receive food every 30 days and clothing every 2 weeks.

How much clothing can I get?

Our quantities vary from month to month, but the amount is typically 3 outfits per person.  We’ll let you know when you check out.

Can someone else pick up my food for me?

When you complete your application, you can identify a person to pickup on your behalf.

Why do we only get food once a month and clothes twice? I need more food not clothes.

Most of the food that we provide is purchased by our organization. So, we must limit it to best serve the community.  We realize food is a big need for many households. Thus, we try our best to serve as many guests as possible by limiting visits to once a month.

Do you help with utilities, rent, or housing? Employment?

Unfortunately, we do not.

Do we deliver food?

We are not able to deliver food due to the large volume of guests we serve.

What church are you with?

New Life Church (www.newlifeeveryday.com)

Is there a church service here?

We don’t hold any services here, but you’re welcome to join us every Thursday at noon for Bible Study led by Pastor Terry Eubanks.  Lunch is provided.

How long have you been here?

Our organization has been in existence for over 20 years; however, our name and location has changed a few times over the years.  We began operating from our current location in February of 2019.

Where are my return dates found?

Your return date is printed on your name tag and food box ticket at the bottom.

How do I email my required documents?

If you have documents to submit, they can be emailed to projectlifeaugusta@gmail.com.

Can I pick up for a friend or family member?

You can only pick up for members of your household, unless you’ve been given authorization on the initial application of the member.

Can I donate here? What do we accept for donations?

We accept gently used clothing, and nonperishable foods.

How do I become a volunteer?

If you are interested in volunteering at Project Life, you will need to speak to one of our directors to learn about criteria and application process (See Contact Tab).
